Brass Kaleidoscope
Not a symmetry filter: a simulated instrument. Coloured glass tumbles in a backlit cell between two mirrors. Turn the phone and the glass falls; point it at a lamp and it blazes; switch to the camera and it becomes a teleidoscope.
